The Electric Fence

Weak Mark Carney cut a deal with Communist China to flood Canada with spy cars. Now those cars drive right across our border — no tariff, no inspection, nothing. Cameras, sensors, and a live data link straight to Beijing.

Not on our watch.

Carney Sold Out
to Beijing

In October 2024, Canada did the right thing — matching America's 100% tariff on Chinese EVs. Then Weak Mark Carney became Prime Minister, flew to Beijing, shook hands with Xi Jinping, and slashed it to 6.1%. Sold out Canadian auto workers. Sold out North American security. All for a canola deal. Tremendous weakness. Sad!

49,000 Chinese electric vehicles a year. Growing to 70,000. BYD, NIO, Geely, Zeekr — all coming to America's doorstep.

President Donald J. Trump — January 24, 2026

If Carney thinks he is going to make Canada a ‘Drop Off Port’ for China to send goods and products into the United States, he is sorely mistaken.

Even Ontario Premier Doug Ford — from Canada's auto manufacturing heartland — warned Canadians they wouldn't be allowed across the US border in a Chinese-made "SPY CAR." He was right. This makes it official.

THE CLOCK IS TICKING. Analysts expect the first Chinese EVs at Canadian ports by spring 2026. BYD Atto 3s, Seals, Dolphins. NIO ES9s. Zeekr 8Xs. Within a year, tens of thousands of Chinese spy cars parked in driveways from Vancouver to Toronto — a short drive from the longest undefended border in the world.

★ The Threat ★

5,525 Miles of Border.
Zero Protection.

Here's what's about to happen. A Canadian who bought a BYD in Vancouver drives to Seattle. A family from Toronto crosses to Buffalo. A commuter from Windsor drives to Detroit every single day. Under current law, they roll their Chinese surveillance platforms into America with zero duty. Zero scrutiny. Zero questions asked.

Nobody at the border checks if the car has 12 cameras, LiDAR, and a cellular uplink to servers under CCP jurisdiction. There isn't even a category for it. Total disaster.

★ Rolling Spy Platforms

8–12 HD cameras. LiDAR. Radar. Ultrasonic sensors. GPS. Cellular uplink. They map everything — every road, every building, every military installation. China's 2017 National Intelligence Law requires Chinese companies to "support, assist, and cooperate with national intelligence work." Every single Chinese EV on an American road is a mobile intel platform that Beijing can task whenever it wants.

★ Beijing's Kill Switch

Over-the-air software updates. The manufacturer pushes code to the car whenever it wants. During a Taiwan crisis — or any confrontation — Beijing could remotely disable every Chinese EV on American roads. On I-5 through Joint Base Lewis-McChord. On bridges into Detroit. Near Fort Drum. The more Chinese EVs cross the border, the bigger Beijing's kill switch gets.

Build the
Electric Fence

Carney can let Beijing's spy cars into Canada. That's his problem. But they DO NOT get to drive into the United States of America.

No Congress needed. The President signs it tomorrow.

A

Full Ban — Default

Chinese spy cars cannot enter US territory from Canada. Period. You own a BYD in Vancouver? Drive a different car to the border or don't cross. Clear message to Carney. Clear message to Xi. America is closed to your surveillance platforms.

B

Airplane Mode for the Car

CBP technician physically kills all wireless — cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth — at the port of entry. Tamper-evident seal on the telematics unit. The car drives but it cannot phone home to Beijing. Verified on exit. Break the seal? We take the car.

C

72-Hour Pass with Tracking

Customs bond. 72 hours max. Connectivity killed. No entry within 25 miles of military installations. GPS tracker installed at entry, removed on exit. Violate the terms and CBP seizes the vehicle.

The draft EO uses Option A as the default, with authority for CBP to implement Option B or C by regulation. Read the full text →

Close Every Backdoor

Stop the
Commercial Flood

Stopping spy cars at the border is step one. But Beijing is also setting up assembly plants in Mexico — and now Canada — to dodge America's 100% tariff. Slap "Made in Mexico" on a Chinese car and it pays 2.5% instead of 100%. The Electric Fence closes every backdoor.

01

IEEPA — Immediate Import Ban

National emergency. Ban any EV made by a Chinese entity — regardless of where assembled. Day one.

02

Enforce the BIS Rule

Chinese vehicle software and hardware are already banned. Accelerate it. Expand it. Enforce it.

03

CBP Origin Enforcement

Chinese parts = Chinese car. Period. Plus Uyghur forced labor enforcement. Burden on the importer.

04

CFIUS — Cut the Pipeline

Block Chinese companies from buying dealerships, service networks, or charging infrastructure in North America.

05

Section 232 — Permanent Foundation

National security investigation. Court-tested tariffs that last beyond any single administration.
